QR code printer
Make a sharp QR code sized exactly for your receipt printer — for a link, a menu, a review page or your Wi-Fi.
“Print” opens the Elysano app with this image loaded — connect your USB or Bluetooth printer there. Nothing is uploaded.
Tips for QR codes that scan first time
- Keep the content short. A short link makes a QR code with fewer, bigger squares, which thermal printers reproduce much better than a dense code.
- Leave the white border. The tool adds the required four-module quiet zone; don't crop it off.
- Use Medium error correction for receipts. Go to High only if the paper will get scratched or folded — it makes the code denser.
- Test before you print a hundred. Scan the preview on screen with your phone, then scan the first printout.
Wi-Fi QR codes
Choose Wi-Fi network, enter the network name and password, and print. Phones with a modern camera app (iOS 11+ and most Android phones) offer to join the network when they scan it. The password is encoded in the code itself, so only print it where you would also be comfortable writing the password down. The data never leaves your browser.
Does it work with my printer?
Any ESC/POS receipt printer that works with the Elysano app can print these codes — USB printers in Chrome, Edge or Brave, and Bluetooth models through the beta Bluetooth mode. Pick 58 mm for small printers and cat-style mini printers, 80 mm for standard receipt printers. See printers & paper if you are not sure.
