Before you write
Most connection problems have a quick fix. Check the troubleshooting guide and the setup guide for your operating system first — especially if the USB picker is empty or Chrome says "access denied".
Reporting a printer problem
If you are writing about a printer that doesn't work, please include:
- The printer brand and model, and the paper width (58 mm or 80 mm).
- Your operating system and browser version (for example macOS 15, Chrome 129).
- The exact text in the status bar after you click Connect printer. It includes the device's VID/PID, which helps identify it.
- What happens when you click Test print (text) — nothing, garbage characters, or a correct test receipt.
Please don't send the image you were trying to print unless we ask; we never need your files to diagnose a connection issue.

Feedback, feature ideas and business enquiries are welcome at the same address. Elysano is a free tool, so there is no formal support agreement, but reasonable questions get an answer.
